Why were we to call this the “LYDIA PROJECT”?
Because in Acts 16:14 it states, “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.” This passage truly describes the Proverbs 31 woman named Lydia that was not only a mother and a business woman but the Word says she was a woman who did the things Paul spoke of in Acts.

What We Do
The Lydia Project is to help those Believers in Israel who are facing persecution becuase they have accepted Yahshua of Nazareth as their messiah or, as Christians say, have made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.
We pray for those who persecute others while we help the victims of this persecution, whether they are citizens of the land of Israel or Strangers in the Land like the Sudanese families the Lydia Project is helping.

The Mission
The heart of the Lydia project is to fulfill the mandate of the Torah and the clear word given the believer in the Brit Chadasha which is to help the widows, orphans and poor of the Land of Israel. We have also discovered a great need among those who have made Allyah to Israel and are believers in Messiah Yahshua or have become believers since returning to the land. Our research has brought to light some very disturbing facts concerning the treatment of those jews in the land of Israel.
